How to Make Kaattaadi a Paper Toy Fan

Posted on 02:14 by Unknown

How to Make Kattadi -  a Paper Toy Fan for kids

Take 3 Strips of paper as shown in picture (I used color paper strips here to understand easily)

Now fold down strips from the middle as shown.

Let's call the bend or the closed end as top and the open end as bottom.

Once completed this much, insert the green strip into the orange strip as shown below.

Now insert the bottom of orange strip into Blue strip as shown below.
Now insert the Bottom of blue strip through top of green strip.
Now pull the blue strip through green strip, then pull the green strip through orange strip and the orange through blue till it become tight and look like a fan as below.

Once completed you can hold it against a fan on a pen or pencil tip.

Hope you like it.....

Bible Kathakal from Manorama by Rose Mary

Bible Kathakal Review

Bible Kathakal from Manorama Books by Rose Mary is really a classic. A must buy. It’s priced at INR 350 and it worth it with premium printing, glossy papers, hard binding and excellent art work that take readers to that era. The author had done a pretty good job making the stories from bible in an order right from the beginning to end in a continuous way, like a novel, such that readers would not even notice the transition from Old Testament to New Testament if it was not mentioned. It is really a good work from Rosemary that need to be mentioned as in today’s busy world people from Christian background too won’t mind teaching their children Bible.

Remember this not a collection of individual stories picked from Bible but like a novel it is continuous till end. So if you plan to buy it, to read it out to small kids who don't know to read then it will not work. It is for those who can read. I bought it to read it out for my cousin's child who is in first standard. But only after taking it out of the sealed plastic covering,  I came to know that it is continuous  and cannot be read out for kids as individual stories (like story of Ruth or Story of David etc.)
